Overcoming Shyness on the Phone
Extroverts have all the fun. They can jump on the phone and chat with a stranger for hours, as if they’ve known each other their whole lives. For introverts, conversations with strangers can be a daunting, yet intriguing experience. Depending on how shy you are, the first call can seem terrifying, even though you know it will be worth the effort. If you still want to make that call, it doesn’t have to be quite so terrifying, and there are a few things you can do to make it easier for yourself!
Be prepared with your character. Preparation makes everything seem a little easier because it readies your brain and makes it feel like you have a bit more control over the situation. Prepare your character by putting together what you look like, and who you are as a person. Keep your hobbies and character traits the same, so that your character feels more natural, but your looks and experiences can be whatever you want them to be! Have fun with it!
Look at yourself in the mirror while you talk during your chat. This is a small psychological technique that will trick your brain into relaxing, since you’re looking at a familiar face while you chat. It’s easier to talk to a familiar face, even though it’s a stranger’s voice, so your reflection will help you relax, if only a small amount.
Start your call with the basics: What is your name? What do you enjoy doing when you aren’t working? It sounds silly, like an ice breaker activity, but it works to get you going and find common ground with your partner. Once you find that common ground, having a more meaningful or intimate conversation is even easier and far less scary.
Practice with multiple people. The more you talk to random strangers, the less shy you’ll become. Try talking to a different model every time you call in. All of our models are sexy, and they all want to give you as much pleasure and passion as humanly possible. Talking to a different person every time will help you overcome that initial shyness in conversation, and you’ll sound like one of those lucky extroverts in no time!
We touched on this a little bit earlier but find common interests! People love talking about things they’re interested in and will be more likely to forget about any shyness, in place of the interesting conversation. Whether it’s video games, literature, sports, movies, or anything else, we have someone that loves the same things and is happy to chat with you about them for as long as you want! The common interests will make the conversation more personal and will give you an emotional connection that will take the intimacy to another level!
Conversations with strangers don’t have to be scary and can actually be quite exciting! You get to be someone new every time, and you don’t even have to look at them when you’re talking!
